Attorney Gary D. Jiles, Esq.
Mr. Jiles was born in Newport, Arkansas. He was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 1988, and the Tennessee bar in 2012.

Mr. Jiles began his career in 1988 practicing in the areas of labor and employment law, and representing and advising businesses and financial institutions on securities, regulatory and other matters. Since the mid-1990s, he has practiced primarily in the areas of banking law, commercial transactions, business law, business litigation, employment law and estate planning. He has represented and advised various financial and securities institutions in regulatory compliance matters, and he has defended various financial institutions in lender liability cases. Further, he has represented various clients, including numerous financial institutions, insurance agencies and agents and corporations in breach of contract and shareholder actions, and in litigation to recover past due loans, both secured and unsecured. He also advises and represents Boards of Directors and corporations on a variety of issues, including, but not limited to, contractual matters, compensation and compliance issues. Finally, he is well versed in contract negotiations and drafting of documents, including, without limitation, drafting documents for the purchase and sale of businesses and loan transactions for financial institutions

            Moreover, Mr. Jiles has considerable experience in representing clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). He was involved in representing two separate employers whose employment practices were under a systemic investigation and involved potential litigation with the EEOC–one of which involved sex discrimination, and one which involved the issue of random testing of employees for alcohol. He was able to bring both cases to a successful resolution without having the EEOC turn the investigation into a class investigation.

           Mr. Jiles is a lecturer on financial and corporate law matters. He was chosen as one of the top speakers for 1997 and 1998 by the Arkansas Bar Association for his presentation along with the Arkansas Director of the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage Hour Division, the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993.

            Mr. Jiles is active in the Conway, Arkansas business community and is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Conway Chamber of Commerce, having held that position in 2004. He is also a past member of the Board of the Conway Development Corporation, and he is a member of the Conway Development Corporation which is a group of local business leaders who work to bring industry and business to the community.

            Mr. Jiles was chosen for inclusion in the Mid-South Super Lawyers publication for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2014. Only five percent (5%) of the total lawyers in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee are listed in Super Lawyers. In addition, Mr. Jiles was named to the list of Best Attorneys in Faulkner County, Arkansas, in 2013, 2014 and 2016, in the readers’ poll of the Log Cabin Democrat.

            In June 2007, Mr. Jiles was inducted as a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. In 2009, Mr. Jiles was certified as a member of the Council on Litigation Management.

            Mr. Jiles was a Partner and Shareholder in the Little Rock, Arkansas law firm of Jack Nelson Jones, P.A., from 1994 to 2011, with offices in Little Rock and Conway, Arkansas, and Nashville, Tennessee. Since April 4, 2011, he has been the President and sole shareholder of The Jiles Firm, P.A. The Jiles Firm, P.A. formerly was a member of Millar Jiles, LLP, with offices in Searcy, Arkansas, and Conway, Arkansas, from July 1, 2011, until 2020.

       Mr. Jiles is married to Lisa Jiles, and they have two children, Katie Vinson and Trevor Jiles, and two grandchildren, Charlotte Vinson and Payne Vinson. Mr. Jiles and his wife Lisa are members of New Life Church. He is also an avid Razorback fan and cyclist.

  • MATTHEW K. BROWN

    Matthew K. Brown’s practice focuses on Civil Litigation, Business law, Estate Planning and Banking. Mr. Brown is a 2004 graduate of Hendrix College and a 2007 graduate of the William H. Bowen School of Law. Mr. Brown was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 2007.


                Mr. Brown is married to Ashlea Brown who is an attorney with Nabholz Corporation, and they have two daughters, Anna and Elizabeth.

  • THOMAS V. VINSON

    Thomas Vinson is a Conway native whose practice includes business law, transactions, collections, corporate formation and structuring, and estate planning. He also practices general litigation, representing businesses and individuals in a wide variety of matters. 


                Thomas graduated from Conway High School and attended the University of Arkansas, where he was President of Lambda Pi Eta honor society. After college, he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. In law school, Thomas was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, served on the UALR Law Review, and earned three Top Paper Awards.
